Scoutsfocus All-American Day 2

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Day 2 of Scoutsfocus All-American Camp continued with some top notch younger players who competed hard. While the talent hasn't been the same as NBPA Top-100 Camp, scouts unanimously noticed that players were working their tails off. Here's a recap of the top performers.

2016 point guard Curtis Jones of Highland Springs (VA) - He scores, makes his teammates better and puts a limit on the flash in his game. With a mature game, Jones chooses to be like this in order to make his teammates better and simply win. If he can grow two more inches, his future as a high-major guard will be set. Only a rising sophomore, Jones holds offers from Virginia Tech and Richmond with interest from Wake Forest, Virginia, Penn State, North Carolina, George Mason, VCU and NC State. The Team Loaded product has visited the three in-state schools, and hopes to check out NC State by the end of June.

2015 forward Hassan Thomas of Woodrow Wilson (TX) - As his shot selection needed some refinement throughout the camp, Thomas did a good job of being aggressive for rebounds, getting tip-ins and slashing. His mid-range jumper off of one or two dribbles is quick, but can be efficient. No schools have offered him just yet, but interest is piling up from Baylor, California, Georgetown, Fresno State, SMU, LSU, Illinois Chicago, St. Louis and Creighton.

2015 shooting guard Kwinton Hinson of Fairmount (NC) - A number of traits stuck out about the Team Loaded product on Friday. His first move, crossover, mid-range jumper and ability to take his defender off the dribble were all exhibited as he made a number of athletic finishes at the rim. His high energy and size give him an advantage, and Hinson is also an underrated rebounder. Interest is coming in from Wake Forest, Xavier, Georgetown, Baylor and Clemson.

2014 center Obi Romeo of Greenbrier East (WV) - Unknown by most, and a native of Nigeria who came to the states and was adopted two years ago, Romeo is huge. He measured in at 6-foot-10 with a 7-foot-7 wingspan. He only has one year left, but expect him to get some major exposure this summer with a few big opportunities ahead. According to his stepfather, schools in the Atlantic-10, Big South and Arkansas have shown interest.

2015 point guard Justin Jenifer of Milford Mill (MD) - Quite possibly the most exciting and flashy player to watch in his class, Jenifer's unselfish passing is smooth but effective as he finds open teammates easily. Jenifer creates off the dribble in order to get his own shot, whether its taking it to the rim, or using his pull-up jumper. He does a great job of switching hands when getting to the basket in order to avoid a shot rejection. Thus far, offers have accumulated from Indiana, Rutgers, Miami, Memphis and South Florida. Recently, Louisville and Kentucky have come into the mix as both are showing some interest in Jenifer. Tennessee wants him to visit in the summer, as does Stanford.

2015 guard Chris Clarke of Cape Henry Collegiate (VA) - What a difference a year makes for Clarke, who played in the first Scoutsfocus All-American camp last year. Clarke showed a lot of upside last year, and now he's turning it into productivity. He's likely to be a combo guard at the next level, but his point guard skills are present. His jumper has improved but still needs some work. Clarke's length and ability to put in on the floor, as well as finishing at the rack, have helped him a great way. He's an extremely attractive candidate for schools looking for a big point or combo guard going forward. Virginia Tech, VCU and Virginia have been recruiting him the hardest, but none have offered. Alabama, Old Dominion, Maryland, Miami and Iowa State are also interested. Clarke hopes to visit Virginia and VCU this summer.

2015 small forward E'Torrion Woolridge of Belmont Central (TX) - The Houston Hoops product had the best day of all players at camp. Long and athletic, Woolridge attacked the rim in transition and from the wing. His on-ball defense on the wing is getting better and he's been rebounding, as well. His wing skills and productivity really stood out, though, and there is no doubt more offers are on the way. Rice has offered, while Alabama, Stanford, Baylor, Virginia Tech, Texas Tech and Miami are interested. As the Tide are recruiting him the hardest, he plans on taking a visit there before June ends.

Recruiting Blitz

2015 shooting guard Myles Stephens of St. Andrew's (DE) holds offers from Yale, Princeton and Holy Cross. The majority of the Ivy League and Patriot League are recruiting him fairly hard. Stephens, who visited Cornell on Wednesday, will visit Columbia on Monday.

2015 forward Paul Thomas of Summer Creek (TX) holds early offers from Rice and Western Kentucky. He holds interest from Stanford, Arizona, South Carolina, LSU, Alabama, Texas A&M, Memphis, Houston and Oklahoma. Look for more offers to come in after he plays in the U16 Peach Jam this July.
